DOI: https://doi.org/10.36885/nzdpm.2017.33.125-132 Key words: Harriers, birds of prey, collections, State Museum of Natural History of NAS of Ukraine The paper contains analysis of 42 museum items of 3 species of harriers: Hen Harrier Circus cyaneus (Linnaeus, 1766), Pallid Harrier Circus macrourus (S.G. Gmelin, 1771) and Montagu’s Harrier Circus pygargus (Linnaeus, 1758). These species can be difficult to identify. We reidentified 23 items with description of the species, sex and age.
